• Feeding Instructions

  Average Eclectus Parrot: Approx. 450g bodyweight requires minimum 35g of Paradise Pellets per day. (Note: this figure considers you feed equal parts fruit and vegetables in addition)

  Other frugivores (fruit pigeons, birds of paradise, minors etc): Approx. 8g of Paradise pellets per 100g of bodyweight, in addition to fresh fruit.

  Paradise Pellets have been developed to provide complete nutritional balance when fed as 50% of your Frugivore s total diet. The remaining 50% should consist of majority fresh fruit and vegetables (45%) and small portion of treat foods such as select nuts and seeds (5%).

  Vetafarm Delistix can also be added into this 5% as a healthy balanced treat and behavioural enrichment tool. Foods high in iron should be avoided when feeding Frugivores with a low iron tolerance.
